3. How much time does an airport transfer take in Moscow?

Short answer: Between one and three hours.

Long answer: The transfer time between the airports highly depends on the time of day you are traveling. We advise all our customers to plan in at least two (2) hours of travel time to any of the three airports in Moscow. Usually, without traffic jams, an airport transfer takes about 45 to 75 minutes from most of the hotels in the city center. Though, traffic jams are a common phenomenon in Moscow, thus set an early pick up time if you want to arrive at the airport on time. It is also important to note that passengers should be in the airport minimum two (2)  hours before flight take-off, thus planning a pick up time in Moscow approximately 4 hours before the flight departure is always a safe bet. Our dispatchers will happily assist you finding the right pick up time - you can contact us by phone, chat or e-mail.

4. How will I find my driver?

Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall of the airport. The driver will use a name board with the name indicated by you during the reservation process. Next to that, several hours before the pick-up, our dispatchers will send you an e-mail with information regarding the driver (e.g. name and mobile phone number). If in doubt, you can always call our dispatchers at location and they will make sure the driver will find you immediately. Also, our fares already include one hour of waiting time in the arrival hall (counting from 10min after actual landing time of your airplane), thus in case it takes a minute longer at the customs controls: no problem.

5. But I don't have Russian Ruble yet. How can I pay the driver?

No worries. LingoTaxi offers you several payment methods. You can pay in cash to the driver in Ruble, but also in Euro or US Dollar. You pay the driver at the end of the ride, once you arrived safely at your destination. And, next to that, all our drivers speak English (or the language of your choice, if available) and will happily assist you with finding an exchange office, help you translating in case of communication problems or any other assistance you might need. If paying in a foreign currency, our driver will connect with our dispatcher service to quote you the fare in Euro or US Dollar depending on the current exchange rate of the day of transfer.

Of course, if for example you just had a long flight and only want to relax and travel in comfort to your destination, you can easily pay by credit card in advance. Just let us know during the reservation process, and you can pay your fare beforehand through the safe, secure payment provider PayPal.
