LingoTaxi accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB credit and debit cards worldwide.
giropay enables our customers in Germany to pay directly online from their bank account.
iDEAL enables our customers in the Netherlands to pay directly online from their bank account.
EPS enables our customers in Austria to pay directly online from their bank account.
We accept Bancontact, a popular payment method in Belgium. Our customers can use their Bancontact card or mobile app to authorize payments.
Our customers can check out during the payment process conveniently with Google Pay or Apple Pay.
All customers of the 27 member states of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and Monaco have the option to manually pay for our services by SEPA bank wire transfer. Customers should choose the manual payment option during online reservation.
Prepayment of Services online
All prepaid invoices include an additional 3.5% administration fee. This fee is non-refundable. Customers will receive their invoice by email, including a link for online payment. Invoices will be automatically quoted in Euro (Europe, Asia) or US Dollar (Brazil). Transfer fares for Russia will be converted to Euro using our bank's exchange rates, which might vary significantly on a daily base (see "Cash" below). If you wish to be invoiced in US Dollar, kindly advise our customer service beforehand. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB credit and debit cards. Important: Credit Card payments are not available inside the vehicles, and only accepted as advance payment.Digital Wallets: Google Pay and Apple Pay
LingoTaxi also supports Google Pay and Apple Pay payments when paying in advance online. Google Pay and Apple Pay payments are processed through Stripe (see above). Google Pay is available if the customer is using Google Chrome or Safari and if the customer is logged in to his/her account and has a valid card registered with Google Pay. Apple Pay is available if the customer's device is running macOS 10.14.1+ or iOS 12.1+, the customer is using the Safari browser and has a valid card registered with Apple Pay. In case the option is not visible to the customer, we recommend to securely check out using credit or debit card details. In countries where giropay, iDEAL, EPS or Bancontact are available, customers can use these services to check out and pay for our services. Our payment processor will redirect customers during the payment process to the respective service, through which customers can pay using their bank accounts. This service is only available for payments in Euro currency. For invoices issued in other currencies, only the credit/debit card option is available.SEPA bank wire transfer
For private and corporate customers of the 27 member states of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and Monaco, LingoTaxi offers manual payments by bank wire transfers. Bank transfer payments can be done in advance for any services with fixed rates. For SEPA bank transfers, LingoTaxi does not charge an administration fee. Fares will be automatically translated to Euro to given exchange rates, which might vary significantly on a daily base (see above). Customers will receive our bank details after making a reservation, in order to pay their transfers in advance, if this option is chosen. Please note this option is not available anymore for customers in the United Kingdom starting January 1st, 2021.Cash to the driver
Payment in cash to the driver is only available in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Our customers can pay their fare at the end of each transfer directly to our drivers in cash in Euro, US Dollar or local currency.Please note that we only accept clean bank notes in foreign currencies. Coins or torn bank notes in foreign currency will not be accepted. Drivers will have change money only in local currency available.
On our website, you can find fixed fares quoted in Russian Rubles (Russia), Euro (Ukraine) or US Dollar (Brazil). If you wish to pay in another currency as indicated on our website, our chauffeur or customer service can quote you the exchange rate of that respective currency on the day of transfer according to local bank rates. Exchange rates may vary on a daily base. Please note that our bank's exchange rate might vary significantly from online services aggregating exchange rates from various sources (like Yahoo or Google). However, the fixed fares as written on our website never change and are fixed. If you do not agree on our bank's exchange rates and would like to pay in local currency, you are welcome to pay in cash directly to our drivers' and exchange money in advance at your own bank or at an exchange office in the airport or along the way to your hotel.
