What is the cancellation policy?


  • Transfers: Minimum 6 hours before actual pick-up time: 100% refund
  • Tours: Minimum 1 week before actual pick-up time: 100% refund
  • From 10 June to 19 July 2018, different rules apply (see below)

You can cancel your reservation at any time by providing your reservation ID to our dispatcher service by telephone, chat or e-mail. Please note that cancellations are only valid after you have received a cancellation confirmation by e-mail from our team.

Conditions regarding Cancellation

5.1 A reservation may only be altered or canceled after consulting with our customer service. Cancellations or changes must be notified to us minimum twenty-four (24) hours prior to the actual pick-up time. This can be done by e-mail or telephone.

5.2 Regarding the reservation of LingoTaxi transfer services with a value below 100 USD (Brazil), 100 EUR (Ukraine) or 4500 RUB (Russia), for cancellation less than six (6) hours before the transfer pick-up time, the client will be charged with 100% of the transfer fare as cancellation fee. In case of incomplete reservation details provided by the customer, the LingoTaxi chauffeur has the right to refuse to transport the customers if the security of the passengers cannot be warranted for (e.g. excess luggage not declared upon booking, no baby/booster seat booked, etc.). In this case, the client will be charged with 100% of the transfer fare as cancellation fee. Except are changes or cancellations due to force majeure as stipulated under §6.1.

5.3 Regarding the reservation of LingoTaxi tour and chauffeur services with a value starting from and above 100 USD (Brazil), 100 EUR (Ukraine) or 4500 RUB (Russia), cancellations between one (1) week (= 168 hours) and twenty-four (24) hours prior to pick-up time will be charged with 50% of the total amount (administration fee). For cancellation of any LingoTaxi services with a value starting from and above 100 USD (Brazil), 100 EUR (Ukraine) or 4500 RUB (Russia) less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the pick-up time, the client will be charged with 100% of the transfer fare as cancellation fee.

5.4 The LingoTaxi Chauffeur Service is subject to a minimum amount of hours of rent per vehicle. In case a customer uses less hours of service than initially reserved, 70% of the hours a vehicle has been reserved will be charged. For example, if a customer books 10 hours of chauffeur service, but utilizes only 3 hours of service, the customer will be charged with 7 hours of chauffeur service, and the remaining 3 hours will be refunded. The minimum amount is fixed; hence if a customer books 2 hours of e.g. Economy Class chauffeur service, but utilizes only 1 hour of service, the full 2 hours will be charged.

What is your cancellation policy during the FIFA World Cup 2018?


  • Payment must be done until at least 15 days before transfer
  • First paid, first served until booked out.
  • Cancellation free of charge depending on vehicle class.

All LingoTaxi services in Russia from 10 June 2018 to 19 July 2018 have to be prepaid in advance. All clients are served on a first paid, first served base. That means the earlier you book and pay your transfer, we can guarantee free capacities. We cannot guarantee free capacities for transfers booked several months in advance, but paid only a day before the pick up. Therefore, payments must be done until 15 days before a transfer. All reservations not paid until 15 days before the pick up will be automatically cancelled in order to make space for other customers. Cancellations are free of charge until 15 days respective 25 days before a transfer. See the table on the right for the cancellation policy per vehicle class.

Short-notice reservations (made less than 15 days before a transfer during the World Cup period) are subject to availability. Once a transfer service is paid, we will check availability and dispatch an available driver and vehicle for you. If there is no availability (if we are overbooked), you will receive a full refund within 10 business days.
